The second annual Chris Kegel Day Bike Ride and Walk and park bench dedication will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at the Ozaukee County Trail Bridge Park, which is located at the west end of the bridge over I-43 in the Town of Grafton.

The State Department of Tourism also will present a check to the county to promote the Ozaukee Interurban Trail.

Christ Kegel day was established by the county in 2016 to remember Kegel who was instrumental in creating the trail.

Bicyclists will leave the Grafton Village Pool parking lot at 3 p.m. and arrive at Trail Bridge Park at 4 p.m. Car parking also is available near the park at Maryglade Road.
