At this career fair, students were the experts

During most career fairs, representatives from area businesses come to schools to talk about the jobs their companies have to offer. But at Thomas Jefferson Middle School’s career fair last week, eighth-graders were the experts. Students who participated in the Port Washington school’s Career Journey Project, which was made possible through a grant, researched careers and toured area colleges and businesses, then shared with other students at the school everything there is to know about the jobs they studied.
