Canoe, kayak at the Cedarburg Bog

A canoe and kayak birding event to look for nesting American and least bitterns, rails, waterfowl species, sandhill cranes, herons, alder and willow flycatchers, marsh wrens and other birds will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Cedarburg Bog. The trip is limited to adults who can swim, who have experience with canoeing or kayaking and are comfortable with birding by boat. Everyone must wear a flotation vest at all times when on the water. Canoes, paddles and floatation vests will be provided for those who need them. There is a suggested donation of $25 per person for the trip.
