Prism Manufacturing acquires West Bend firm

Prism Manufacturing Group of Port Washington has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Barton Precision Components of West Bend.

Prism is a precision machine shop that recently relocated its operations to Port.

It acquired the assets of Barton Precision through a public auction.

According to an announcement of the acquisition, directors of the Port company “saw tremendous strategic value in not only the
equipment at Barton, but the knowledge and experience that the employees possess.”

Prism started with two employees in 2009, but now boasts a workforce of more than 45 employees. It is located in the former Simplicity
Manufacturing building.

The company specializes in precision screw machining, focusing on custom components, manufacturing solutions and standard inserts
for multiple industries.

It is owned by Ric Czarnecki and Jack Zbiegien.
